Quaker coupons
Just to let you know, Albertson's will not be accepting most of the Quaker internet printable coupons because they are fraudulent. There is a fake $1.00/1 online. I have some for Quaker pancake mix from coupons.com and they said they wouldn't accept them either. Just ask when you get there if you have questions. Sorry for the confusion!

Shopping trip yesterday!
This is the current promo at Albertson's this week. I bought 5 boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks @ $2.00 each and 4 boxes of Betty Crocker Brownies @ $2.50 each bringing my total before coupons and taxes to $20.00. I used 2- $1.00/2 BC Fruit snack coupons and 1- $.40 BC Fruit Snack coupon, and 2- $1.00/2 BC Brownie Coupons bringing my total down to $15.60. Since I spent $20.00 the register automaticly subtracted $5.00 so my OOP was $10.60 plus tax. I then got a $3.50 catalina back for buying 5 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks to use on my next shopping trip.

I have someone in Hagerman who hasn't been receiving the Walgreens Ads in the Sunday paper and was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem? Is it where she lives? Free Slim Fast Bars

While walking around Albertsons they were setting up a new store display of single Slim Fast bars. 81 oz. The cardboard display said try me free with shoppers value card. I asked the cashier how to get them free, and she said she didn’t know but would use me to figure it out. So we scanned the bar it rang up for .99 cents but as soon as we scanned my Albertsons card it took .99 cents off making them free! ( just pay tax)
Plus a catalina coupon printed out for $1.00 off any slim fast product. The display does say one per shopper…so do not go all crazy, just get one and leave some for others. Hope you find this display at your local store.

Just want to say thanks to those of you who take the time to email me and let me know all your great shopping deals! I don't make any money from this blog but what keeps me going is talking to people in the store and getting emails telling me how your lives are changing because of the amount of money that you are saving. Paid with $5.00 catalina from previous trip. Total spent $21.08, total saved $49.91 plus got another $5.00 catalina.
2nd trip: 3 Carnation Instant Breakfasts $2.99 each - $1.00/1 from last week's papers and doubled them; Gallon of milk $2.09, Whipping cream on closeout for $.50 each; french bread $1.29; GM promo items- 3 GG steamers $1.49 each, 2- GG vegetables $1.29 each, 5 boxes of fruit snacks, 1 B.C. I did the awesome General Mills Promo! I bought 5 bags of Nature Valley Nut Clusters and 5 boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks. I used (5) $1.00/1 coupons on the Nut Clusters and (2) $1.00/2 and (1) $.40/1 coupons on the fruit snacks. Out of pocket I spent $15.76, saved $20.45 and then got a $5.00 catalina for spending $20.00, a $3.50 catalina for buying 5 fruit snacks, and a $3.50 catalina for buying 5 Nut Clusters.

I used $6.25 in coupons for the cereal, $1.00/2 for the Warm Delights, (2) $2.50/1 Finish coupons, (3) $1.00/1 Chinet Classic White and doubled them. I paid with a $5.00 catalina from a previous trip, a $3.50 catalina from previous Betty Crocker fruit snacks, a $3.50 catalina from previous trip for Nut Clusters. Out of pocket I spent $16.74, saved $67.74 and got another $5.00 catalina.

Albertson's Ordering
I was in Albertson's tonight and was asked if I knew how many fruit snacks, cereal, nut clusters, Finish geltabs, Peanut Butter, (basically anything that was on sale) they need to order on Friday (tomorrow) to get everyone what they want. I have no idea what to tell them so I am asking that if you have any idea how many you are planning to buy please leave a comment with the product and quantities. They order tomorrow and the order comes in on Sunday and they will not get another order until the sale is over. Please let me know how many of you are regular shoppers in Burley so we can try to get an idea for the future also.

Double Coupon Rules
Just a reminder for everyone about the rules for using the Twice the Value (Double) coupons that are in are ad today.
You will find 3 twice the value coupons on the back of your ad. You can use 3 twice the value (double coupons) per family per shopping trip. They will double any coupon up to the value of $1.00 making that coupon twice its value. SO if you use a .75 cent coupon it will double up to $1.50 or if you use a $1.00 coupon it will double to $2.00. They will not double a coupon for $1.01 or more. They will not double a coupon that says do not double, or not subject to doubling.

Albertson's 2nd shopping trip
Another spend $25.00 get a $10.00 catalina deal! Iams Dog food $17.99, used a $4.00 coupon I got in the mail from Homemade Simple, Cascade $4.99, used a $1.00/1 from Homemade Simple and doubled it, Dawn Hand Renewal, used $1.00/1 also from Homemade Simple and doubled it. I also bought a box of Cuties for $4.99, used a $1.00/1 and doubled it. Total before coupons was $30.26, after coupons was $20.26, I paid with my $10.00 catalina from previous trip bringing my out of pocket to $10.26 plus tax and then I got another $10.00 catalina! I LOVE SHOPPING!!!
Albertson's Shopping Trip
1st trip through yesterday I bought 7 Pantene products and one Oil of Olay that were on the spend $25.00 and get a $10.00 catalina. I used (2)- $3.00/2 Shampoo or Conditioner coupons and (3)-$1.00/1 Pantene coupons, I doubled those and then I used $1.00 off Oil of Olay. Total before coupons $27.94 plus tax, after coupons $14.94. I also used a $10.00 catalina bringing my out of pocket to $6.64 including tax. Then I got back another $10.00 catalina! By the way this means after catalina the Pantene is $.46 each and the Oil of Olay is $1.46!

Coupon Classes
I just want you all to know that for the months of January and February I will be available to teach coupon classes without charging. I have been very blessed in recent months and feel like one way that I can give back is to teach the classes for free. If you have a church group or friends that would like to learn how to save at least 60% off the products that we use everyday, please email me at coupongals@live.com and we will get a class set up! The only thing that I ask is to try to get a minimum of 10 people since I will be traveling at my expense. Remember the rules for Twice the Value Coupons (Doubles)!
Only use 3 per trip, you must leave the store between transactions; you can double manufacturers coupons that are $1.00 or less in value; you cannot double store coupons or coupons that say do not double or triple on them. I will put some double ideas up later today, these will work great with the current P&G promo's going on.
