Double Coupon Rules

I tried a few different tactics today with the help of Diane at Albertsons to see what will work and what will not.  You will receive 3 Twice the Value Coupons for each $25.00 purchase (but only 3 will print even if you spend $50.00 or $75.00) You can not purchase 2 groups of $15.00 on the current promo and get 2- $5.00 catalinas to print.  Meaning if you did 2 groups of $15.00 in the same transaction (spending $30.00) you will get 1 -$5.00 catalina and 3 double coupons.  It is better to buy 1 group of $15.00 and add $10.00 more worth of products to get to $25.00.  Just buy things that are on sale and you have coupons for.  Don't spend $10.00 just to get the doubles that are at the most worth $3.00.  As you can see from my shopping trips, it isn't hard to do.  Especially because they are having such a great sale this week.  Just remember that since the promo is all odd numbers ($2.49, $1.69, $1.29 etc.) you will not be at $15.00 exactly so take a calculator and figure out what you need to get to as close to $25.00 without going under.  Good Luck!  I just have to say that I am grateful to have the double coupons no matter how we get them!  Albertson's is rewarding those of us who shop there often, not just when we have double coupons!
