Quaker coupon

I have had a few reports that Smith's will not accept the coupon that came out in Sunday's paper.  Other people have said that they were able to use them so my advice is to ask either a cashier or the cashier manager before you fill up your cart if they are accepting them and how many you can buy at a time.  Some people are told 10, some 50 so just ask!  Let me know by posting comments what your experience has been!

  1. When I went in, I couldn't use the coupons from the newspaper, but I could use the coupons that I purchased online. They looked the same to me, but the cashier said she could tell by something at the bottom of the purchased coupons that they were good.

  2. I had coupons that were white in background and they accepted fine. I spoke with Mark the manager and he told me 25 was the limit.

  3. I used the ones from the 5 Sunday papers I get, the one from the insert Wednesday, and all the other 20 that I bought off ebay. So 26 coupons, total. It worked fine yesterday. But I've heard today that they quit taking the newspaper ones, cause they're for Associated Food Stores.

  4. I went in last night and spoke with the night manager. They cannot accept the coupon from the Swensen's Ad, because the last line of it reads, "Good only at participating Associated Food Stores." Which means only those stores with Western Family, like Stokes, Ridleys, and Swensens. They did however take the coupon from the Albertsons ad, as it does not read that way. She said they accepted them the first day, not realizing what the fine print said. She said some people were really angry and rude to them about it. But is says it right on the coupon. And she said there was no limit. Smith's didn't have alot left, it was pretty picked over.
So I went to Albertsons after without a coupon. We asked them if we could have more coupons, and they gave us what we wanted when we got to the checkstand. They had piles of the coupons right there, that they let us use.
I'm grateful that the stores let us do this, so I would encourage all couponers, to please read the fine print, I would hate to see them stop this all together. ;)

  5. I thought that if it said Manufacturer coupon that it was good anywhere. Is that changing?

  6. So I have lots of $1 off oatmeal coupons. I can use one per box, with no limit? 5 boxes, $5 total, then $5 in coupons? This seems not right! But I am grateful for the deals!
