I was shopping earlier today and was asked to put on my blog that Albertson's in Burley received 9 cases of Dan-o-nino and has them on sale for $1.50 (I think?) Quaker coupon

I have had a few reports that Smith's will not accept the coupon that came out in Sunday's paper.  Other people have said that they were able to use them so my advice is to ask either a cashier or the cashier manager before you fill up your cart if they are accepting them and how many you can buy at a time.  Some people are told 10, some 50 so just ask!  Let me know by posting comments what your experience has been!

Albertson's Sale 4/14 through 4/20

Quaker Sale starts tomorrow!  In the ad there is a $3.00 off of 5 coupon that you will need to cut out.  Each item is $1.60 but when you buy 5 and use the coupon they will be $1.00 each.  This is not as good as the last sale (we got them for $.40 each with the same coupon) but $1.00 for Granola Bars or a box of cereal is not bad!

On the 3rd page in the Times News there is a Swensen's ad with a Quaker coupon on the bottom right hand corner.  It is for $3.00 off 5 products and is a manufacturer's coupon.  It can be used at any store and rumor has it that there will be one in the Albertson's Ad that comes out Wednesday morning.  I don't yet who will have the best prices but I will post it when I find out.

Albertson's Twice the Value Coupons

This is the ad that came out in yesterday's Mini-Cassia edition of the Times News.  Twin Falls edition will start getting these everytime we do starting May 2nd. 

Double coupon rules:

Can only use 3 coupons per trip.

Coupons are numbered 1,2,3

Can double any manufacturer's coupon $1.00 or less in value unless it says Do Not Double on it.

Must leave the store and come back in if using more then 1 set.  (meaning use 3 coupons, take the items out to your car and then go back in and use 3 more, Etc...)

Cannot double Albertson's store coupons, just manufacturer coupons.

Double Coupon Ideas

Just a few things I saw while shopping this morning.

Reynolds Foil $2.99, use $.75 off and a double, final $1.49 each

Rhodes Warm and Serve, Cinnamon Rolls, etc.  Some are on sale $2.50 each, use $1.00/2 and a double making them $1.50 each. 

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Syling products $2.79, use $1.00 off and a double making them $.79 each. 

Remember to check your coupons for things that you need and that are about to expire that have not been on sale.  Combining the coupon with the double even if the item is not on sale will usually get you about 50% off.  Things like oils, mustard, pickles, sausage, bandaids, cat food or dog food, cheese.  Post comments about what you find!

Remember we do not get the same coupons as Boise so you might have a different amount like instead of $1.00/2 we might have $.50/1.  Just check your coupons as you make your list.  I will try to see if I have anything to add later!

Kmart week of double coupons is here!

A few weeks ago I did a post about the sale that Kmart is having this week.  They will let you double 5 coupons per day up to $2.00 in value.  Since I don't usually post Kmart I am going to refer you to the KrazyCouponLady who has been posting lots of deals to watch for!  All of the stores in Idaho are participating, some don't know it but if you ask they will figure it out!

Update on Double Coupons for Twin Falls customers!

Thanks to everyone who called Albertson's last week!  Corporate Albertson's said that they will start sending Double Coupons out in the Twin Falls Edition the second week of May! 

Get ready for the Quaker Sale!

Albertson's will be having a Quaker Sale in the next couple of weeks so if you want to order coupons then now is the time to do it!  I was lucky enough to find some $3.00 off of 5 Quaker products and some $1.00/2 Chewy Granola Bars.  I don't have any information on prices yet but last time using the $3.00/5 coupon, I paid $.40 per item!  Remember to check where the coupons are coming from and make sure they do not expire before the 30th of April!

Send in your expired Coupons!

One of our followers has adopted a base and says to send her your expired coupons and she will send them out.  Please sort your coupons into food and non-food and put them into separate ziploc baggies.  Then mail them to:

What to do with expired coupons?

One way to use expired coupons is to adopt an overseas military base and send them our expired coupons.  I have known about this program for almost a year and have told several people about it but no one so far has taken the initiative to get organized.  The website with all the information is  http://ocpnet.org/  Basically someone needs to fill out the adoption form, give me an address to post on the blog and then everyone could separate their own coupons into non-food and food baggies and mail them in at the end of each month to whomever adopts the base.  That person or persons would then package it all up and mail it to the base.  If anyone wants to take this on I would be forever grateful!  I feel guilty all the time for throwing coupons away, but just simply can not ad one more thing to my life right now!

Binder for sale

1 Insert this Sunday

We will be getting the P&G Insert this weekend which comes once a month.  If you want to save a ton of money then you will want to sign up for multiple copies of the Sunday newspaper.  We have a CouponGals subscription rate for the Times News that is $18.00 per month for 1 daily paper and 5 Sunday papers.  If you would like to sign up please call Nicole @ 208-219-1384.  If you call before 2:00 tomorrow afternoon (Friday) you will be able to get 5 copies on Sunday!
