Double Coupon Ideas

Just a few things I saw while shopping this morning.

Reynolds Foil $2.99, use $.75 off and a double, final $1.49 each

Rhodes Warm and Serve, Cinnamon Rolls, etc.  Some are on sale $2.50 each, use $1.00/2 and a double making them $1.50 each. 

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Syling products $2.79, use $1.00 off and a double making them $.79 each. 

Remember to check your coupons for things that you need and that are about to expire that have not been on sale.  Combining the coupon with the double even if the item is not on sale will usually get you about 50% off.  Things like oils, mustard, pickles, sausage, bandaids, cat food or dog food, cheese.  Post comments about what you find!

Shopping trip this morning!

L.A. Looks Gel on sale $2.79 each, used 3- $1.00 coupons and doubled them.  Total OOP $2.69, saved $6.60.  Paid $.79 each.

3 packages of Fruitables Juice boxes on for $2.99 each, used 3- $1.00 and doubled them.  Total OOP $3.33, saved $8.10.  Final price $.99 each.

6 Boxes of Duncan Hines Brownie and Cake mixes on sale for $1.00 each, used (3) $.55/2 coupons and doubled them.  Total OOP $2.97, saved $9.18.  Final price $.45 each!

 

Herbal Essence Shampoo and Conditioner $2.79 each, used (3) $1.00 and doubled them.  Final price $.79 each.  Total OOP $2.69 and saved $9.00.

2 gallons of milk @ $2.00 each, eggs $2.39, Mission Tortillas $2.79, used $.75 off coupon and doubled it.  Total OOP $8.19, save $1.98.  I hate it when I have to pay full price for stuff but milk and eggs are kind of necessary!

2 more Herbal Essences $2.79 each, used $1.00 off and doubled them.  Total OOP $1.80, saved $5.90.

My total for the day was $21.67 OOP, saved $40.76.  Not as good as some weeks but this total includes milk and eggs which are $6.79. 

Double Coupons in today's paper!

Today there is a Smart Source, a Red Plum and an Albertson's Ad with 3 Twice the Value Coupons on the bottom!  I will post some Double coupon ideas later.  Let me know if anyone finds some good deals!

Smith's Sale 4/7 through 4/13

Smith's is having a case lot sale which I usually don't shop anymore but they have a few things that are better prices then I have found this past year.  I will just post the items that I know are the best deals.


24 count case of Kroger Mushrooms $11.99 or $.50 each  ( I have never had mushroom coupons)

Kroger Honey, 12 count 16 oz bottles, $27.00 or $2.25 each

8 count Gold Medal Flour $10.80 or $1.35 for 5 pounds.  (40 pounds for $10.80)

Kroger Mandarin Oranges, 24 count $7.99 or $.33 each

Kroger Tomato Sauce 24 count for $5.99 or $.25 each

Remember we do not get the same coupons as Boise so you might have a different amount like instead of $1.00/2 we might have $.50/1.  Just check your coupons as you make your list.  I will try to see if I have anything to add later!
